Imogen Smiling

Just had to add another picture of Immy from yesterday, I believe. It's rare when you see her smiling this big, she's rather serious most of the time, so I had to publish it. Posted by Picasa

Imogen Today

Although this picture might not indicate it, Imogen is now sitting up by herself! I mean, not where I put her in the sitting position and seconds later she flops down in some strange way, but actually putting herself into the sitting position. Can you believe it?! Almost nine months and she's just now sitting up. I'm not too concerned though because she's just been more interested in scooting throughout the house and seeing EVERYTHING she can since somewhere around five months. The other two didn't do that early at all. So, here's Imogen from just moments ago, after a diaper change. Now she's already happily sleeping. Posted by Picasa

Minnie Mouse Hadley

We have Minnie Mouse mania going on in our home. Everyday Hadley has the chance, she will dress like Minnie Mouse. Seriously, she dresses in her Minnie Mouse dress nearly EVERY day. When she wakes up in the morning, it's nearly the first thing she asks for. It's really quite strange, but basically, she looks like this all the time at home. She even refers to herself as Minnie. A few weeks ago we went into Toys R Us and she saw her beloved stuffed Minnie as soon as we entered and she HAD to have it. It was like four dollars. Unfortunately, the thing has maybe five repeating phrases, yet she insists that Minnie is having a personalized conversation with her. Oh, by the way, this was last years Halloween costume. Posted by Picasa

Valentine's Day Tatumn

Here's Tate before school on Valentine's day. Isn't she the cutest? Posted by Picasa

Tatumn With Friends

I've decided to add yet one more thing for the day, as I know Tatumn would love to see our site along with this picture. This was on Valentine's at school. I went to help with the party and took a few pictures. Here is one they got the brilliant idea to assemble just seconds before they collapse and laugh at themselves hysterically. Thankfully, no one suffered any bruises. It was a fun time.  Posted by Picasa

Another Early A.M. w/ 2/3 of the Girls

Well, it's another early a.m. and we're down one, plus one, as Tatumn is in Indy, but Hadley woke up screaming to use the potty, while Imogen was laying happily in her crib. Yes everyone, it's true, Hadley is in underwear 24/7 and it's an amazing thing. She's probably been staying dry in her undies for nearly a month now, without diapers at all. We're so proud of her. Tatumn comes home today and we will be so happy for her return. I'm betting she'll be happy to rid herself of the temperatures she's been experiencing but at the same time, sorry to say farewell to her family there. Okay, I will say goodbye for now. Hope everyone is doing well, especially you Layla. Best of luck in meeting your deadline for today. We miss you. Posted by Picasa

Cayo Costa

Okay, I promised a picture from our trip to Cayo Costa. This is one from our first hours there. As you can see, a huge storm was coming our way. The storm clouds, contrasted with the water, was a really nice sight. New friends we made there, Scott & Tymar, took a few pictures for us. We survived the rain AND cold and hope to return there very soon. Maybe we'll be brave enough to take the girls next time.

It Goes Without Saying

Okay, well I haven't officially notified Eric of my decision to blog, which I'm sure he might be less than thrilled about, and I really have no idea what I'm doing. I mean, I don't even know if Blog is always capitalized or if it's an acronym, or what. I'm sure that with a bit of research I might be more informed. Maybe everyone is saying, "Oh, Danielle.", and snickering right now, and that's okay. I've spent more minutes than I care to mention trying to put this all together, so please try to tolerate my learning at a slower than desired pace. Thanks! Oh, and by the way, this picture is of Eric and I on our 1st anniversary. We look pretty ridiculous, but it WAS pouring buckets at Disney, hence the embarrasing ponchos. Anyway, this picture is tribute to the 3rd anniversary we just celebrated. I will be sure to post new pictures of our getaway to Cayo Costa, an island only reachable by boat/ferry, where we camped primitively and froze. Despite the circumstances, we had a GREAT time.

An Early Morning with Imogen

Well, it was an early a.m. with Imogen today. She woke up in the wee hours (~6), well wee to me anyway. Dad contributed by fetching Immykins and giving the supplemental bottle. I took over for a diaper change, we played, and now she snacks on something that resembles Cheerios while I surf away and get the strangest inclination to BLOG?!! I don't know what state of mind I could be in to ever decide to do such, but let's just say maybe Grace inspired me, well, that along with sleep deprivation. Thanks Grace, thanks Imogen.
