Merry Christmas 2007

We just wanted to wish all of our family and friends a VERY merry Christmas! We hope everyone enjoys the festivities and has inner peace (this can be difficult, I know, but sometimes you just gotta laugh in spite of it all). Anyway, for those not with us (you know who you are) we miss you and wish you could be here, as well. Know you're in our thoughts always.

Lots o' love,

Eric, Danielle, Tatumn, Hadley, & Imogen

Random, but Christmasy

So, the holidays have officially begun at the Jungst residence. I finally downloaded some new pictures off the camera and found these cuties of Hadley Elise, so I figured I'd share them. The second two are obviously of our tree and while I would have preferred the flamingo be out of the background, I thought it would be better to post them before I forgot to do it altogether. So yes, it's busy but the kids are enjoying all the activity and company we're having around here.

Hello

Hello. It's obviously been awhile. I actually wrote a whole blog last night, but when I went to submit it, the internet stopped working. So...here I go again.

Things have been quite busy here. The girls are keeping us incredibly busy and life has been rollercoasterish lately. Tatumn has been insanely busy with the usual things. School, dance, and soccer still keep her occupied five days a week. Hadley is still enjoying preschool and usually looks forward to going everyday. Imogen and I keep busy with many, many things these days! We're taking advantage of several of the free programs at the various local libraries in the Sarasota area. They're quite fun with storytimes, songs, dances, and crafts. We're also going to gymnastics during the week, too. It's so exciting for Imogen. We sampled a few places but found the first class we went to was the very best fit. It has all the standard gymnastics equipment and then some. Pits, trampolines, bars, balance beams, rope swings, and it's geared toward toddlers and it's based on the group instead of the individual. Imogen LOVES this class and HATES to leave. We've also started occupational therapy and will have an early interventionist coming to the house once a week starting in January. The state program has found that Imogen shows signs of delay in several areas of development and qualifies for speech, occupational, and early intervention therapy. She loves her time with our occupational therapist, Laura, and looks forward to seeing her every week. We're doing a lot around here, for sure. She likely will be able to go to preschool next year through the state program, as well. We haven't decided about that yet, but we've got so much to do and think about. We just want to do everything in our power to help her. It has been challenging and we're learning more everyday.

So that's about it. Eric's enjoying work and we've been preparing for the holidays. We miss everyone and can't wait to see the family that will be coming our way so very soon. For those we won't be fortunate to see, you're in our thoughts and we wish you very happy holidays.
