Here are the pictures I promised from the party for the seniors in Hadley's class. The first picture is Hadley with her best girl friend, Abby. The second is her insisting that I can't "catch" her with my camera, and the third is her with her favorite boy friend in her class, Michael. They play so well together. So, it was a very nice party, wonderful weather, and very amicable kids. Everyone played in the pool for about 99.9% of the time and I had to drag Hadley out in the end. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful school year at Forty Carrots. We will certainly miss the friends we've made there, but hope to see them from time to time, even if the kids are going in so many different directions.
Speaking of, I registered the girls for school today so it's official, my babies will be leaving me for a good portion of the day in the fall. I can't even fathom such an idea and it will be here before I know it. I guess this means I'm going to have to get a life outside of my girls. I just have to figure out what it is that I will be doing with that life....
Never did post any pictures from Imogen's second birthday and I just discovered it, so I'm doing it now before I forget again. I'd say I'm just a little late, huh? Well it was a magnificent party with most of our very closest family and friends there. Potter Park is still one of Imogen's favorite parks and so it is nice that she had her birthday there last year. She was and is still obsessed with Mickey and Minnie Mouse so maybe we'll put them on the cake again? We haven't decided what we're doing this year at all but I'm thinking it will be small and simple. And this year I hope to post pictures much, much sooner, but we'll see.... I would hope to not fail at this twice.
