End-of-the-Day Beach Fun
Well, spring break has officially begun and with wonderful weather, too! Now, I know it's Florida, but the weather has been less-than-fabulous here for some time. We promised the girls some time at the beach to end the day and, as you can see, they had fun. Obviously I took tons of pictures and while we plan to return this week, I don't expect to take nearly as many, so I thought I'd share! Enjoy!
Rafferty & Sand
Rafferty tried sand today and went back for more, repeatedly. I really thought after a couple of times he might think better of it. He didn't. This should make for an interesting summer......
Okay, so this was the CUTEST thing ever! Imogen and her preschool class put on a play at the local theatre yesterday evening and it was an absolute success! The class had been practicing for this performance for about two months. The play was based on recycling and keeping our earth clean. Imogen was very proud to be a strawberry. In the pictures, she's lost her decorated headband that gave her nothing but trouble during the play but as Grandma said, "That was part of what made it so cute." It was all so very entertaining and had most of the crowd laughing throughout its entirety from actual humor or sheer cuteness, take your pick. It was short and sweet and we got it all on film. I can't wait to share it with family and friends. We really loved it! All the families were raving about it, really.
Also, to raise money for the school, the students did five pieces of artwork inspired by various famous artists and family and friends were allowed to purchase them (Grandma bought them all and shared). Hadley was quite impressed with her sister's work and picked out her favorite piece, as you can see. Good job, Immy!

A Successful Weekend at Disney
Here are the 3/4 of the kids at the beginning of our Disney visit. Tate was away in Indiana for the weekend and she doesn't mind when we don't include her in Disney visits so much anymore, especially with her little sisters and brother in tow. So, it was quite busy again and there were crowds everywhere, but we did everything we set out to do for the day. We went to Epcot AND Magic Kingdom and had FUN doing it! The kids were fabulous! We left the house at 9am and got home at 2am. Long day, but it's a special event that we haven't done in some time, so we took advantage of the kids' great moods and all the fun. Rafferty especially love the Tea Cups, if you can believe it?
Um....Sushi-eatin' Immy?
Well, we had a heck of a time getting sushi for lunch today! We had plans to go to the closest store to get some BUT they hadn't gotten theirs in yet so, we were off to the next place they recommended. FINALLY, we were successful in locating some and we headed home to enjoy it. I had to take care of the baby first, but Imogen was patient and managed to find an old pair of shades to entertain herself. I laughed when I saw her waiting patiently with those glasses but it was even more comical when she began to eat. I grabbed the camera, of course! Such a silly one!
