Imogen Loses 1st Tooth, Gets Visit from Lichen Cornglimmer

Yep! Little Immy has ALREADY lost her first tooth! It had been VERY loose for over a week but the day after her fifth birthday she just pushed it out with her tongue. She was SO proud, of course! She anxiously awaited a visit from the Tooth Fairy last night and this morning she found that Lichen Cornglimmer left her, and I quote, "five pieces of money, mommy!" and a note written in silver, as all tooth fairies do in this house. We all got a laugh out of the name, of course and I promise you it's only half random. It's amazing what name generators you can find on the net. You type in your kids name, they spit out a most ridiculous name for your fairy. Since we couldn't think of something as good as Hadley's fairy, Matilda-Kate, we gave up and relied on the generator. So, here she is, growing like crazy with one of her teeny, tiny teeth already gone. Wow!

New Floors!

Okay, well, maybe it's not just the floors, but here are some shots of them and a bare booty too. I couldn't resist taking some pictures of Raf while he was airing out in hopes of avoiding diaper rash. With all the time he spent in diapers with the hot weather at Disney the last several days, I thought his bottom half deserved it. He'll kill me later, I suppose.

But yes, Gabe and Eric did a FABULOUS job on the new floors and I LOVE them!

Tatumn-8th Grade Dance

Tatumn had her end-of-the-year 8th grade dance last week. It's so hard to believe that high school is nearly upon us already! Wow.

Rafferty, 9 Months

Okay, so I went a bit overboard with posting pictures of the little guy (25lbs. of little) tonight but I have such trouble editting them out!  Oh well, everyone knows just how much I love the little fella.  So, wow, it's been an insane month!  Raf has changed so VERY much these last four weeks.  Goodness, where to start?  I guess everyone remembers how worried I was about Rafferty in a previous post.  It was a scary time and I hope it's in the past now because the new Rafferty is SUCH a happy little ham!  I've SO enjoyed seeing him come back full-force with personality and gusto this last month!  Babbling up a storm, getting into EVERYTHING, laughing out loud, pulling up on EVERYTHING still, and crawling so gosh darn fast!  I'm surprised his knees are still rash free.  He still loves cereal, he seems to like squash a lot, and he'll tolerate small portions of bananas.  I just feel overjoyed right now with his progress and I'm glad he's engaged with his family again.  I am so grateful, so thankful, that this little boy, whom we love so very much, is in our lives and I could never imagine life without him.  We love you, baby.
