Halloween 2011

This year we were chicken, bird watchers, and owls.  I worked until the last minute with that glue gun, especially when we began to get dressed and Raf began to actually tear his costume off! Yes, I was sweating it, because I really wanted to get this costume on him after all that time committed AND, after all, HE was the one who wanted to be an owl in the first place! Yes, he's only two, but I knew the great potential for cuteness and doesn't he know this family?!! Tatumn recycled last year's costume because she wouldn't be caught dead doing our cheesy themes anymore.  Yes, I'm attempting to talk her into it for next year, since she'll be leaving all this fun in the next few years.  She'll miss it, I just know.  Who couldn't miss such chaos? Until next time.....

Favorite quotes of the night and in perfect succession while climbing the stairs to someone's house, "Gotta be owl. Whoo! Whoo!", followed by, "Trick or Treat!" and finally, "Thank you! Bye Bye!" Yes, Rafferty warmed up quickly to trick-or-treating (thank goodness) and had the routine down in no time.  How do they grow so very, very quickly?
