I can't say enough good things about spring breaks in Florida. Sure, it was a little cold this year, but I was so sad to say goodbye to our family and the sunshine and the outdoors. Being outside and with extended family after a long cold hard winter sure warms the soul. I miss it all so much. It might have been less harsh to return home if we had more warmth to come home to, but it's still a bit chilly here, though we had a pretty nice day yesterday and spring's future days look to be more encouraging. Here's to our spring! May you come to us for continuous days soon, or I may forced to revisit these pictures frequently!
I should also mention the two other great things about our spring break this year. We stopped in Georgia to visit one of my best friends and her family. We loved seeing them and only wish we could've stayed longer! The kids played together and no one was seriously hurt by Rafferty's antics, so I consider that a success! Unfortunately, her baby was pretty darn sick, and that was a bummer, but hopefully baby Eriah is on the up and up and the next time we see them (sooner than a year from now I can only hope) everyone will be healthier! Thanks for letting spend time with you guys! We miss you already.
The second and last great thing we did on our spring break was visit the Georgia Aquarium with my parents. No pictures, unfortunately, but it certainly was an incredible, and oftentimes, breathtaking experience. My parents graciously met us and we were able to spend a day at this amazing place with them. I carried Raf for much of the day and didn't even attempt to carry my camera, though I wish I had been able to document our day as it was extra special and now has a special place in our memory banks. Thanks mom and dad for meeting up with us and making a big memory for all of us! I can't recommend this place enough.
