The party was a great success this year! We just had a small get-together with Grandma, Paka, Auntie, and friend, Gwen, and us, of course. I decided to have it at a park we found by accident not too long ago, as it is completely covered in the shade. Shade is ultra-important this time of year here. Anyway, it was a blast! As you can see, Imogen had a wonderful time with her family and friend and I was just so pleased that it worked out. I didn't put lots of thought into the event (I DID bake the cake though) but it worked out so smoothly and we did it on a weeknight(everyone will be gone over the weekend this year)! We wanted to deviate from the usual restaurant routine (aka Red Lobster visit) and enjoy the outdoors this time. Next year I hope to include more kids in the event. Happy birthday, Immykins!
