Yosemite

I've been to Yosemite National Park multiple times.  It's still as beautiful and big as ever.  It was probably our most dangerous outing on our trip though because we had inadequate shoe wear and we got separated as a group on a hike while there.  Notice there are no pictures of Hadley and it's because Raf decided to go on up ahead to catch up with Tatumn while hiking.  She left us because we had a time constraint concerning our reservations and she was to finish first as a sort of strategy to try to get a second night reservation in the park.  Nonetheless, I suddenly realized how dangerous that was for him, yet I'd already lost sight of him and worried profusely that he might slip/fall and since he was trying to catch Tate, I had no idea if she was actually with him (no cell phones here).  The terrain is very jagged and rocky on this popular hike (It's popularity probably made me feel a little better since there were hundreds of people climbing and descending it with us).  But yeah, I had to abandon Hadley and Imogen on the way up to Vernal fall and wonder if Raf was okay the entire time until I got to the top.  I should mention that I once hiked to this same fall when I was expecting with Tate and beat my entire family to the top.  I have absolutely no idea how I did that now because did I mention it was INTENSELY hard?!!  So yeah, we clearly survived and everyone made it to the top, except Hadley.  She tried but by the time we reached the top and turned around, she ran out of time.  We had hoped to stay in Yosemite for more than one night but it is so dang popular (rightly so) that we were unable to reserve a spot for another night.  Bears were spotted and apparently are being spotted a great deal more than usual this year.  I wasn't too worried about them, but they can certainly be a problem here, especially with so many people leaving food and whatnot out.  Yosemite almost looks fake because of its breathtaking views.  I look forward to returning here, as well, because it's one of my faves and has been since I first visited.
