Idaho, South Dakota, & Minnesota

Definitely wish I had more time to spend exploring Idaho!  I was very pleasantly surprised at how much I loved what I saw while there.  I didn't have much time to take any photos really, except these and some with my phone, but it really was amazing and I didn't expect that.  I hope to go back to quiet, pretty Idaho someday.  I would certainly love to camp much more there, too.
The view outside our campsite in Idaho.  Pretty and quaint.

South Dakota's Mt. Rushmore
 S. Dakota had some pretty moments, for sure.  A couple of hours of driving outside of Mt. Rushmore and the trip felt looooong and then it was flat and no offense to the people of S. Dakota, but it was much too barren compared to the rest of the trip.  Don't get me wrong, I really, really appreciated that we were able to visit, but at this point in the trip, if there wasn't something to distract us visually, we were becoming more anxious to be home.

And lastly, Minnesota.  A great state to end our trip on, in my opinion.  We didn't get to see too much of what makes the state special (trees and lakes) and it looked more like S. Dakota than Minnesota, but we made it nonetheless and enjoyed our last night on the road.  We ended on a great note and everyone was safe and happy.  Just look at this little boy's face to prove it!  Whew!  We'll miss you s'mores and sights and nature and tent.  You did us well.
