Last week we had a VERY special birthday in the house! My firstborn actually turned 13. It's so hard to believe that the once bald baby with the big brown eyes and best disposition is now so old and has so much hair too! :) We celebrated early with the extended family (Jane, Dave, and Eric were to be out of town on the actual date) at Carrabba's (Tate's pick) and had a really good time. She got fun gifts and also got to be slightly embarrassed by the wait staff there. On her actual birthday she had some friends over for a sleepover and had fun with them. So yes, Tate is official in her teenage stride! It won't be long now until she's doing something crazy like, DRIVING! Wow. Where does the time go? Happy 13th birthday, Tater Tot. We love you so much and are so proud of all your wonderful achievements and the wonderful person you are.
