Despite threatening skies and, at times, powerful wind gusts, Hadleys' 7th birthday party was a success! Ultimately, she decided on a tropical beach, summertime theme this year and we went with it easily. On the beach with Jack Johnson playing in the background, flip-flops on our feet, and her closest friends, Hadley was thrilled and the theme was perfect, of course. The kids had a great time playing on the playground and reconnecting after not seeing each other in some time and it was nice to have this opportunity, as we'll be leaving in mere days. I know we'll miss each other so very much, but it's nice knowing that we will have such wonderful friends to come back and see when we visit family.
