Pants gone, tooth gone

Imogen lost her fourth tooth this week. We will not be getting a top toothless grin from this one because a permanent one grew in behind a loose one so it was never completely empty. Oh well. We're happy she finally lost both of these teeth because, and I'm being brutally honest here, she looked dreadful. Well, not totally, just her mouth. These teeth looked so sad, jagged, and just, weird. I have no idea why but I'm guessing it had something to do with loose roots. Anyway, she's now more adorable than ever and feeling pretty rich with the money Lichen left her.

And Raf, well, we were having really good success with training for the first week but he's been letting loose lately. This kid never peed so much in all his life! I knew he'd be too young to be successful overnight, so we're in it for the long haul, I think. He reached another pretty big milestone this week and his sleep has been majorly interrupted with this new stunt (maybe potty training too). Yes, he crawled out of his crib again, and again, and again. We had to do something, so we took off a side of the crib. Granted, this is more work for mom and dad, but at least he's a bit safer. I hope he stops fighting us soon and just realizes that mom and dad are pretty prepared to keep putting him down to sleep again, and again, and again, too. Time will tell, but this is day three and it's already seemingly better. I put him down for a nap at 11:30 and it's after 2:00 now, so I can definitely say this is the best nap he's had in a week. We'll see what the days ahead bring for progress on the potty AND for sleep....
