Rafferty-3 Months
Here's Mister Raffikins. Poor kid. I shouldn't call him that. Okay, so here's the baby. He's still BIG. I estimate him to weigh about 17lbs. or more. I'll find out on Friday how much the porker has gained, oops, I mean how much he has grown. He's got such personality these days. He LOVES people, loves to be held, loves to stand up with assistance still, and his new best friend is, Daddy. His face lights up when Daddy looks in his direction. I think he likes their resemblance. He said something about his dad's rad hair. :) I don't know if he looks like Eric much besides that, but it's fun to compare. Things he hates: his car seat, car rides, confinement (this could be good, right?) and strangers. He's already starting to realize when his family is not in sight and someone new is in front of him. His mouth turns down and the cries begin shortly thereafter. We were able to witness this, firsthand, on Football Sunday at Buffalo Wild Wings and a few times besides that. He is REALLY working at rolling over from back to front and will roll over from front to back. He's got work to do for both, as far as making them more commonplace, but it's the first maneuver that is really frustrating him these last few days. He gets mad when he's stuck by his chunky thigh being in the way. He has also discovered just how entertaining his little bawled up fists and fingers can be. Oooh, when he finds a thumb, he's in all his glory! He'll suck on them like there's no tomorrow. So that's where we're at with three months. I've probably forgotten something but I'm sure he'll top it in the weeks or months to come. Until then, here he is partially diapered and nearly ready for a nap!
